Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Ahsan Iqbal slammed Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan over speaking in regards to the extension of the Chief of Military Workers’s (COAS) Common Qamar Javed Bajwa’s extension, arguing that it’s an “unconstitutional and political tactic”.
Abbasi stated that the Structure of Pakistan was clear on the military chief’s appointment, saying: “The Structure that we’ve learn says the military chief will get appointed for 3 years. There has by no means been a debate on the extension of the military chief’s tenure.”
