‘PPP will forcefully oppose NAB Chairman’s unlawful extension’: Bilawal Bhutto

Reacting to information that the federal government might give an extension to Nationwide Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Javed Iqbal, Pakistan Individuals’s Social gathering (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari tweeted: “PPP will forcefully oppose the unlawful extension within the tenure of chairman NAB.”

“Even making an attempt an extension, for many controversial chairman in historical past, would serve to show our argument that NAB is an extension of [prime minister Imran Khan] IK’s govt not neutral.”

The non-extendable tenure of the NAB chairman has led to rumours as Prime Minister Imran Khan refuses to seek the advice of the Chief of the Opposition and the President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Shehbaz Sharif.

PM Khan has refused to carry talks with Shehbaz Sharif because the latter is accused of corruption references filed in opposition to him by NAB.
