The Punjab authorities on Wednesday eliminated Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) Chief Saad Hussain Rizvi’s title from the Fourth Schedule — an inventory of proscribed people who’re suspected of terrorism or sectarianism below the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA), 1997, reviews Dawn.
The Punjab Dwelling Division issued an announcement: “The title of Hafiz Mohammad Saad, being Ameer of Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan, a proscribed organisation, was listed within the 4th Schedule of Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997, below Part 11-E on the suggestions of District Intelligence Committee, Lahore.”
