Particular Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Finance and Income Dr Waqar Masood resigned on Tuesday over rising variations with Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin, reported Geo News.
Reportedly, the variations between the 2 grew over the Worldwide Financial Fund (IMF) programme.
Whereas Masood needed the federal government to implement the IMF circumstances as per the cash lender’s programme, the finance minister was of the view that Pakistan won’t be able to implement these circumstances.
Tarin, sources stated, is in favour of negotiations with the IMF to acquire some rest from the cash lender.
It’s being stated that the dejected Masood is of the view that his suggestions as a particular assistant on income are being ignored. He despatched his resignation to the prime minister Tuesday, and till it’s accepted, will proceed to work in his official capability.
