Senior Journalist and Speak Present Host Saleem Safi, whereas talking to The Present, revealed that he has a banned checklist for his present ‘Jirga’ on Geo Information.
“I’ve a ‘banned checklist’ on my present and I’m very specific who I name on my present,” stated Safi.
The banned checklist consists of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Particular Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) Dr Shahbaz Gill, Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Shehryar Afridi, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan and Minister for Prisons, Punjab, as Official Spokesperson for the Authorities of Punjab, Fayaz-ul-Hassan Chohan. From Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, the checklist consists of (PML-N) Talal Chaudhry and MNA Javed Latif.
“I don’t shake arms with SAPM Dr Shahbaz Gill and Minister of Science and Expertise, Shibli Faraz,” added Safi.
“Present me with proof that my workforce or I contacted or known as any of those individuals on my present, and I’m able to face the implications,” stated Safi.
Clarifying his stance, Safi knowledgeable The Present, “I didn’t name Federal Minister for Data and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on my present until he turned a minister. It turned a necessity to name him then.”
Safi’s feedback come after Fawad Chaudhry commented on the previous’s program, saying that, “Meray elawa apka koi telephone nahi uthata [No one attends your call except for me]”
To which Safi replied, “Meiny kisi aur ko telephone kiya hello nahi hai kabi [ I have not called any one before].”
