Waqar Zaka has welcomed Arshad Nadeem on the Lahore airport and rewarded him with $5000 (10 lac Pakistani rupees) as a token of appreciation because the athlete certified for the ultimate competitors of ‘Javelin throw’ on the Tokyo Olympics.
Arshad was given a heat welcome upon his return to Pakistan.

Yesterday, the Punjab government introduced a money prize value a million rupees every for javelin thrower Arshad, weightlifter Talha Talib and mountaineer Shehroz Kashif for his or her latest celestial performances on the Olympics.
Punjab Sports activities Minister Rai Taimur Khan Bhatti mentioned Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar will hand the money prizes to all of the three athletes.
