Director Sarmad Khost’s film “Zindagi Tamasha” wins Best Film and Best Actor award at the Asian World Film Festival.
The Asian World Film Festival’s virtual event took place on March 15, showing 40 films from 20 countries.
During the festival, the film “Zindagi Tamasha” won the Snow Leopard Award for Best Film. The film’s director Sarmad Sultan Khost received the award from jury member Luba Balagova Kandur. The film’s lead actor Arif Hassan was given the Best Actor award.
Arif Hassan expressed happiness over the fact that his film is gaining international acclaim. Sarmad Khost was also very happy on this occasion. He said that receiving two awards for my film. During the festival has given me and my team a lot of encouragement.

But the search for new audiences for his film forced me to believe more in the power of cinema.
